Reiki and Meditation
The two streams of Reiki and meditation merge into a perfect harmony of energy and awareness which creates a natural deepening process. The practice of meditation functions as a soft direction to help people relax their minds and release their physical strain, while Reiki works to restore the natural flow of life energy beneath their surface. The combination of these practices establishes a sacred environment which enables practitioners to enter the present moment effortlessly. The practice becomes more enriching while one discovers how it feels to become open, centered and grounded in a true way.
This centering meditation serves as an excellent technique to unite these practices. Begin to channel Reiki energy, then relax into your breath for awhile, eventually synchronize your breath and inner awareness. Take deep breaths while softening the body tension you become aware of. Notice how relaxed you become as the energy flows throughout the the body to create a sense of calm. Observe how quiet your mind becomes as well.
Over time, the combination of Reiki and meditation teaches you how to recognize the subtle sensations of your own energy and opens a deeper level of self-awareness, spaciousness, and alignment. As these two streams weave together, your inner landscape becomes easier to read. You start noticing the softer movements beneath your thoughts, the small shifts in your breath, the way your body signals when it’s holding tension or releasing it. This is where a practitioner’s sensitivity grows. The more time you spend in this blended state of mindful presence and energetic flow, the more naturally you attune to what is happening within yourself and within others. Your intuition sharpens, your grounding strengthens, and your capacity to hold space expands with grace. What begins as a simple practice becomes a lived experience of clarity and connection.
